The research group on cartography and GIS of Ghent University, the Centre de Recherche en Science et Techniques de l’Information et de Communication of Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne and the Geomatics Unit of Université de Liège would like to invite you to the Workshop on integrating 4D, GIS and Cultural Heritage
14 May 2013, Leuven
The workshop is held at the 16th AGILE Conference on Geographic Information Science (14-17 May 2013, Leuven, Belgium).
On the road to create a collaboratively built standard for archaeological 3D or even 4D data, we invite submissions of short papers (max. 1500 words) describing original research addressing the challenge of combining archaeological data and GIS. Preference is given to papers focusing on one (or mode) specific aspect(s) of the archaeological data complexity, i.e. data-imperfection, temporality, three-dimensionality, etc.
All submissions must be sent in electronically through the online conference manager via the workshop website: https://sites.google.com/site/i4dgisch/ according to the following
EXTENDED DEADLINES:
• Short paper submission: 14 April 2013
• Notification of acceptance: 21 April 2013
• Camera-ready submission: 5 May 2013
