'Sensing the Past — New Approaches to European Landscapes' - ArcLand Final Conference 2015
Frankfurt, 24-26/2/2015
The final conference of the ArcLand project 'Sensing the Past — New Approaches to European Landscapes' will happen from 24-26 February 2015 at the campus of the Goethe-University in Frankfurt/DE
The main topics will be the themes that ArcLand has been working on for nearly 4 years now:
Communicating and teaching landscape heritage (keynote: Edel Bhreathnach, Dublin)
The diversity of European archaeological landscapes (keynote: Jean Bourgeois, Ghent)
Exploring past European landscapes: current techniques — future developments (keynote: Michael Doneus, Vienna)
ArcLand partners from all over Europe will report on these aspects, presenting oral talks and posters, the three distinguished keynote speakers will highlight specific aspects of each of the aforementioned themes. It is planned to publish the output of the conference not too long after the conference.
